nope that wasnt it.. i need the app to stay loaded but hidden .So when the
user clicked the "X" on the control box to end the app i had put in
cancel=true in the queryunload event and added me.hide in there.

So the app wasnt responding to the windows shutdown..
i changed that to check the unload value and only set cancel = true if it
was 0
