pro_vb_dotnet thread: Icons

Message #1 by "Erik Meyer" <emeyer@a...> on Thu, 19 Sep 2002 13:42:39 -0600
I searched my drives as well and found quite a few, but I did not find the
standard icons such as file/open, cut, paste, etc. I am trying to locate
these types of icons so I can have a more polished, standard MS look to my
apps. I was hoping to find them somewhere without having to purchase a $1300
app (Visual Studio Pro).

Thanks for your idea anyway. I appreciate it.

I just did a search on *.ico on my hard drive. There are a huge number of
icons out there under various directories in windows and program files.
Can you find what you are looking for that way ?

toolbars and menus? I purchased VB.NET Standard Edition and apparently it
does not come with these. I have tried microsoft.com, but with no luck.

Thanks for any help,

Visual Basic .NET Text Manipulation Handbook
The .NET Framework brings a variety of string manipulation features
to the VB language, and some of these, namely regular expressions
and the StringBuilder class, are something VB 6 developers may not
have seen before. This book teaches you how to manipulate text using
these string matching, manipulation, and replacement classes. Issues
such as Localization and data conversion will also be investigated.
