Some web pages (sites) are known to modify the user's registry; thereby forcing
the web browsaer to revert to a commercial/advertising site.
You must edit your registry to get rid of the nuisance URL.
Using RegEdit, search for the nuisance URL that keeps reappearing in your
browser. Chances are you'll find 1 or 2 lines in your registry that contain the
nuisance URL. Simply delete every case of the nuisance URL in your registry.
This should solve your problem.
CAUTION: Before editing your registry, you should always make a backup copy in
case of a fatal error/mistake.
Good Luck!
