Thanks for the reply.
I suspect so, I've read the KB articles from Microsoft which seem to point
to this and offer a work around. Their suggestion is tell the client IE to
bypass the proxy for this address, but this doesn't seem to work. Also
within IE, there is a setting to force user name and password dialog box -
again I have no joy with this either.
