Subject: [servlets] Problem in compiling servlets
I am having problems in compilation of a servlet. I get errors
stating that compiler cannot resolve javax.servlet.* and other packag
es.
What do I have to do set up the classpath correctly to pick up those
packages. I just downloaded j2sdk1.4.0 release and set my path.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Meher
The package javax.servlet is in your servlet engine (Tomcat, JRun
,
whatever). You must search in the "lib" directory of your servlet eng
ine a
file named "servlet.jar".
