Bad news! You can't change the sort order of a SQL Server once it has
been installed. I think you can DTS the data across into a DB with a
different sort order, but you can't restore a backup.

Subject: [sql_language] How can we change the sort order ID of SQL

Hi:
I recently tried to import an SQL server database and I got an error
saying
that the data base had a different Sort Order ID and I couldn't import the
database. How can we change the sort order ID of SQL server 7?
Thanks,
Stefan
