It depends on concurrent users. If you have 10-20 users, you better use SQL,
if it's only for 2-3 people, Access would be faster.

Subject: [sql_language] Upsizing Option #2
Hello,
When I upsize my current Access database to an SQL environment using
option 2 on the upsizing wizard, my tables are linked to the SQL server and
my queries, form, and reports stay with my .mdb file. My question is,
is this any different from having my access tables on its own .mdb file on
a server and having them link to an access front end? By linking my tables
to an SQL solution, does this make my process any faster?
Thanks
Cesar
