sql_language thread: Is it possible to decrypt stored procedures?

Message #1 by "Fotopoulos, Lefteris" <LFot@e...> on Fri, 20 Apr 2001 10:09:41 +0300
If we use the WITH ENCRYPTION clause(SQL 7.0), then the stored procedure is
encrypted.
Is it possible in any way to decrypt that stored procedure?
Microsoft's documentation says: "Once encrypted, the definition of the
stored procedure cannot be decrypted and cannot be viewed by anyone,
including the owner of the stored procedure or the system administrator."
Is it true?
I think i've seen a stored procedure in SQL 6.5 that decrypts an encrypted
sp.
Thanks
