access thread: Printing options

 I have a problem with a report in access2000.

The report should be in landscape format. I set the format in the report

properties. Now, when pressing the "Print" button on the form the first time

it is in landscape format but printing the same report a second time it is

again in "Standard"(portrait) format. SO it always works the first time i am

setting the landscape format, but the second time it fails.

What I am doing wrong?

I am helpful for any suggestions,

Chris

It sounds as if you have not saved the landscape format in the report

itself.

Open the report in design view. Then open the Page Setup Window (File>Page

Setup). Select the Page Tab and then select Landscape. Click OK and then

save the report before you close it.

This should resolve your problem.

Speak to your system administrator. It has to do with net work set up. He

should be able to fix it.

If you havn't, try downloading and installing Service Pack 2 for Office 2K.

There are some documented bugs in the Access 2K report formatting features.

For example, I couldn't save my report margin settings, and it drove me

crazy. SP-2 fixed the problem. You may have a similar formatting bug.
