I am working on a front page of a site which users come to when comming
to the site. The page asks users which country (image) that they want to
click on. The image then sends a Querystring to the home page telling it
which country that they are interested in. This data is then stored in a
cookie. This works fine however this process is automatically done,
however I want to allow people to tick on a Checkbox and ask them if they
want their selection to be stored as a cookie so as to skip the front
page when they return next time.
The problem is the checkbox belongs to a form and I have managed to use
the GET method to establish whether the tickbox has been checked or not
but I don't know how that I can add extra data to it so that the query
string identifies which image button was selected.
Is there a way that I can do this?
Or is there a way of sending the status of a CHECKBOX to another page
without using a form?
