beginning_php thread: How to include HTML code in a 'navbar' with PHP?

Message #1 by "Gerald P." <geraldp@w...> on Thu, 1 Feb 2001 01:36:20 -0000
Hi,

My project (MSIE4+):

- one IndexPage with scrolling menus (layers)

- the IndexPage should not refreshed

- I use Apache server for PHP

My problem:

If I use a frame, under the scrolling menus, to target the others

documents of the WebSite, it hides all the layers.

Can the PHP help me to make a navbar or display the other documents

without any frames?

I'm a PHP beginner, so, please give me a code example if you know how to

proceed.

Much apprecied,

Gérald P.

consider using SSI's to include a HTML file in the table cell, or you a

PHP/Javascript etc function to write the HTML for this cell.
