bluetooth thread: Re: Just an idea..

Bluetooth has a range of about 10 meters. So you'd have to be within 10

meters of you 720KBPS line.. rather daft in your house. Could work well

in

an internet caf=E9 though.. (Bring in your Bluetooth laptop and start

surfing.

The same Bluetooth equipment providing the 720KBPS line could recognise

your

account details and charge you accordingly).

As for the Bluetooth kit.. The specs are here -->

http://www.bluetooth.com/developer/specification/specification.asp

<http://www.bluetooth.com/developer/specification/specification.asp>

.. For

a development kit check out -->

http://www.bluetooth.com/product/dev_tools/development.asp

<http://www.bluetooth.com/product/dev_tools/development.asp> .. Theres

a

link to the Ericsson development page, which in turn links to various

companies producing development kits, including Symbionics in the UK.

They

probably cost a fortune..

	HI,

Another idea. How about providing Net access through Bluetooth.

Although

bluetooth has a short range, but it offers 720 KBPS as of now, so

why not

use it to connect to the net?

Where can i get a bluetooth kit.

	Vipul.
