```Stupid question I am sure, but what pray tell, is the answer?
I have been trying to use the formula section of crystal, but it keeps
telling me that a number is required after the *.
This is my latest defeat:
{#RTotal0}*{vw_RptTransactions.FundPrice}
Cystal places the cursor after the astrix and tells me it needs a number.
Both fields are currency fields! It is just a simple multiplication, and
the answer is vital to my report.
Please let me know if you know what I am doing wrong. It will save both
my head and my office wall alot of pain.
Regards
Stephen```
```Thank you

Nice and simple solution, but why should I have to convert a field defined
as currency to a number field? Does Crystal not recognise the SQL currency
type?

Cheers
Stephen
