Any replies to Pete's other query (about the component migration aspect)
would be really enlightening as I think this is a major concern for all of
us in Component Dev.
I myself am a VB dev and have been trying to move to .Net. I sincerely feel
on personal experience that he should be trained in C# and not VB.Net
because the "Object Orientation" aspect is much harder to grasp if the
language is the same. The syntactical difference can be assimilated much
easily if we switch to C#. To move to .Net what I did was to first re-learn
C++ (the basics only!!) and then I have started off with C#. Direct movement
to VB.Net was quiet confusing for some of my colleagues.
