Message #1 by =?iso-8859-1?q?ranjit=20nair?= <mrranjitnair@y...> on Tue, 17 Dec 2002 14:55:10 +0000 (GMT)
Thank you very much for ur reply .....
let me add some more information.

i tried to install this in 2 hp pavilion machine, i
was geting the same error, but it worked fine in an IBM
machine, but now i doubt it has something to do with
the hardware.

here is the insallation procedure i followed.

a)formated the hard drive
b)loaded nt4.0
c)installed servicepack 6
d)installed IE6
e)installed IWS

after installing IWS and when i take a reboot it gave
watson error (httpd.exe violation.....)
also i get a message some events failed during
startup.

then i went to controlpanel and opened services and
tried to start IWS, again i get the same watson
message.

Thanks

Bregards
Ranjit
