proasp_howto thread: addheader prb

Message #1 by "yuenkit" <janet_smith2000@y...> on Tue, 21 Aug 2001 04:47:47
No, it shouldn't give you any <meta> tags. <meta> tags are HTML tags, that
can be used in place of HTTP headers.

If you do this:
Start | Run | Telnet
telnet> open localhost 80
GET / HTTP/1.0
{enter}
{enter}

you will see your HTTP headers.

Cheers
Ken

: <%
: response.addheader "abc", "123"
: response.charset = "iso-latin123"
: %>
:
: I viewed the web page by using note pad, it should give something like
: this, "<meta ....>". But it gave a blank text, instead.
:
: i've tested the script with both win2k and win98 machines, they gave me
: the same result.
:
: Can anybody tells me why is this happened?
