Default saving vb.net form data as a .txt file

dear sir/ madam
iam new to the .net world iam encountering a problem of saving data in a vb.net application, i have to save the data entered in the form as a text file and not in a data base if u could help me ot with the code to use and how to implement it
i would be really greatfull to u
