Default Terrible error: The page cannot be displayed

Hello Guys,

I meet this terrible problem for more than one week. I still could not solve it.

I create a WebApplication, using a DataGrid from Infragistics, and bind to a DataCollection from my repository. The WebApplication works fine first time. But when I click a button (just raise a PostBack event),

"The page cannot be displayed"

Click Back or Refresh it displayes the correct web page again. The Debugger could not enter even the first line of code.

The solution to this in support.microsoft.com is too old (for Win98 etc.) and I think its dangerous to edit registry and rename Winsock.dll, such kind of files.

Intranet, my DataCollection works fine with DataGrid in ASP.NET. There seems something wrong in my computer. I uninstalled Infragistics and re-download, re-install, restart computer, etc. NOne works.

It's really challenging. Any idea?

Thanks in advance!

Chen

What is Infragistics?

Can the page view properly? Have you tried coding another page to test?

Did you purchase this component from Infragistics? If so, you probably qualify for technical support from them. They should be able to help you troubleshooting one of their components.
