sending sms from pc to mobile using asp.net
I have to create an application of my own in which i have to send sms from pc to mobile.i have to create this application in asp.net.
How to take the intiative for this..i am totaly blank :(
Its very urgent...........

if u r familiar with vb, u may be knowing comm control in vb. using that u can communicate using GSM Modem for sending and receiving SMS. But i dont know how to do with mobile.

You could also use a web service to send the SMS, it may be easier than connecting a GSM mobile. See the developers section of our website, to read about it.

Hi,
Depends on whether you want to send SMS using a connected GSM modem, or using a TCP protocol like HTTP or SMPP.
