Default IIS node properties not showing in XP Pro

First off, I reallize that this question really doesn't belong in this category, but seeing as there isn't any category suited for it I'll post the question here:

The problem is simple: I can't get the properties dialog to show up in IIS on windows XP Pro. I have performed all the standard fix-it tasks: restart IIS and reboot. Short of reinstalling everything I've run out of ideas. Anyone else experience this problem? I'm about ready to go back to W2K.

Did you install a buggy version of VS.NET 2005 lately?

When I installed the last beta of VS.NET 2005 I had that as well. I think I was able to manage my machine remotely, but after a while I got sick of it and restored an image without VS.NET. Haven't reinstalled it yet, so I am not 100% sure if the problem is related to VS.NET but I think it is.

Cheers,

Imar

Aha! Good catch. Yes, I have installed a recent pre-release version of 2005. Wouldn't suprise me if that were the issue. Good to know that it's not just a problem with XP.
