Default Extracting the full path of a folder

I have a tool in which i have one textbox and one button and when i click on a folder in desktop or somewhere in my computer the path of that folder should appear in the textbox and on click of that button it should check for all the documnets in that folder and it has to display all those documents in one text file. The problem is "How to get the path of that folder or file in the textbox of my tool when i select a folder in my system ?"

You have posted this question in an ASP.NET forum so I think you'll need to provide more detail about what your application is doing. If this application is in ASP.NET then we need to know what system, the server or the client, you are looking to accomplish this task.

But planoie,
Is it possible that when someone clicks on the folder on the System, our application realises that the folder is clicked..

You didn't answer Peter's question. Is your application running in the context of a Web Browser or as a Desktop application? Since you posted your question in the ASP.NET forum, I am assuming you have a web app that you need to retrieve the full physical path of X folder and, as Peter said, you need to explain exactly what you are trying to do so that we can give you a more accurate answer.

Basically, you will use the FileSystemInfo Class of the System.IO namespace to achieve this but, again, alot of how you will ultimately accomplish this relies on exactly how you are trying to do this.
