I am a beginner to ASP.Net. I first installed VC# 2005 and the installed IIS.When I opened IE7 to open localstart.asp file by
 http://127.0.0.1/localstart.asp I get asked for username and password.
 From the directory security tab->EDIT->Authentication Methods the user name is IUSR_<computername> but I could not guess what the password is. I tried checking and unchecking the various checkboxes in the "Authentication methods" dialog box but could not open the localstart.asp file.
       How do I get Past the Login dialog box?

The default setup for IIS is for Integrated Windows Authentication to be the only one turned on. Usually, however, you want anonymous access enabled so anyone can see the site. Check that box and unchecked anything under "Authenticated access".
