Default como crear una variable tipo Application OleDBConn

Hola, alguien sabe como crear una variable tipo Application que sea una conexión a una base de datos con OleDBConnection?

Mi código es:

void Application_Start(object sender, EventArgs e) {
OleDbConnection Application["ConnDB"] = new OleDbConnection ConfigurationSettings.AppSettings["strConnDB"]);

Pero no funciona.
