Hi all,

I would like to create a front-end login interface in VB6 that calls up my Flash MX 2004 Movies database that I created in Microsoft Access. Is it possible to do this?

Here are my requirements:

1. The front-end login interface needs to check for necessary permissions for a specific user

2. If a user doesn't have any permissions, a message needs to come up saying that they cannot access the database because they are not authorized to do so

is it possible? Does a bear S*** in the woods??? SURE!!! no problem....you would need to know how to:


1. create the database with a password

2. connect to a database

3. query the database and retrieve info

4. vb textboxes or maybe input box

5. if statements

6. VB form and how to run it


7. A way to show your flash stuff


and that's pretty mush it...you would use ADO, SQL, and of course good ol VB....if you want more info, reply and indicate which of the above you need help with. cheers
