Default beginning vb 2015

have not done any vb since version 3. Am trying to ramp up on vb6 so I bought the book and downloaded vb6 community. Going through the book, I am stuck on page 9 - yep, page 9. Requested I select 'windows form application' which is not a option in the list ... am in the process or reinstalling the software after performing the devenv /install... at the vb prompt - to no avail ... if someone could direct me on the procedure to install these templates, I would appreciate it (went online to try and locate them but have yet not been able to find them).

Thanks in advance, stking

Default Windows.Forms errata

You need to start with Sysrem.Windows.Form. In Microsoft 8 or 10. Then the Message box example will run without errors
