Forum user emails are physcially hidden from all other users. The forum physcially sends an email to XYZ user on your behalf. Also, the link that says "Click to send an E-Mail" has not been removed as it is a feature of the forum.
I just opened the link in Imars post and if you look where it says "User Profile" you will most certainly see the link.
Otherwise hit Ctrl + F while on the page and type Click to send in the box that appears and hit enter, the find dialog will jump to the link Imar and I are talking about.
hth.

I guess the only answer I can think of is there is some kind of rules to restrict starting members to send email to advanced users. Other than that, I don't know why.
Thanks anyway/Ryan

I would, if I had it.
The whole point of contacting Ostwald is to get the code first.... ;)
