Default Before I buy the book

Hello,

I have some questions about the book

1- The downloaded code (from the wrox site) is working or not?
2- Does this book worth the money?
3- i know C#, XML, ASP.NET and SQL Server 2000 (HTML and Java Script) but I don't have a practical knowledge so this is good to finish the book?
Thanks,
Salwa

1. It works, but you should look at the "Frustrations with VS.NET" post and check out the MS Tech note on creating multi project asp.net solutions.

2. I have found the book worth the money. It does an excellent job of demonstrating a scalable asp.net architecture. My beef is that they assume a lot of asp.net expertise. I started reading it, and quickly got lost trying to do the examples. Since you are coming at it with some ASP.NET experience, it is probably a good choice.

3. Definitely worth while, although it is tough not to be able to relate some of these concepts to a real project.
