Please Help! Build errors
I get 56 build errors when I try to rebuild the solution to the code from the book. The errors consist of
1. "The referenced component "AccountsBusiness" could not be found
"" "" "" "AdsManagerBusiness" "" "" "" ""
etc.
2. The type or namespace "AdsManager" does not exist in the class or namespace "Wrox.Webmodules" (are you missing an assembly reference?)
Please help me fix this!!

I am having the same problem. Under references I see a bunch of wrox references with little exclamations.
Windows XP SP1, .net framework 1.1, vs.net 2k3 project opened and converted!

I have the same configuration, but I don't get any build errors. Can you build other ASP.NET projects successfully?
The only change I made was to comment out the strong name stuff in all of the AssemblyInfo.cs files, but this doesn't sound like your problem.
What directory did you install the source in? Did you remember to include subdirectories when you extracted the files? |
