Default RS-232 and Access 2007 VBA database

I have developed an Access 2007 VBA database and I want to add a digital scales to send the weight to the weight field in the database. The scale I want to use has an RS-232 external source output port. Someone told me to use Hyper Terminal to connect the scale to the PC, does anyone know if VBA can be used with the RS-232 and how to send the weight to the weight field in Access 2007?

Thanks,

Gajun

Default

Did you ever find a solution?

I am interested in this also, but not for a scale.
