Default chapter 15

hello
plz can anyone modify for me " Item.asp" page in chapter 15 ,so that it will not allow the user to enter an expiration date which is less than or equal to system date .. "constraint on expiration date"

and what about the email address , the system takes same 2 email addresses with same passwords , and doesnt give a msg that email already exist in database ??? how is this ?


plz plz plz iam in urgent need for the constraint in expiration date and for constraint on email address if it already exist in database . " register.asp", "adduser.asp"
my deadline is on wednesday :(:(:(:(

If your email address is not a primary or secondary key in the database, the DB doesn't care about this.
However, you can take the input email address as a string, keep it in a variable, run a select statement using your input email string as a where clause, and if the recordset comes back as empty, you can then put the email address in the database.

As for your date question, try this, don't know if syntax works;

if (userInputdate > Date()) 'date being system date
  'then allow enter of expiration date.

dear friend i am desgin a email system website i am usinf windows 2003 server i am desgin my page in asp usinfg cdonts control the how to recive in my local smtp domain ( my m local domail name in mak.net ) plz help urgent
