Hi

Version 1.1 of the SDK/Framework is available and I simply want to know if the tutorials, methodology and code in the book are compatible with this version? Can I follow each chapter in the book without encountering 1.0/1.1 compatibility issues or are there special considerations?

I have the VB.NET edition.

As the code of books was tested against the Framework 1.0 at the time of
writing, so we are not sure about the compatibility issues. We have not yet
tested the code on Framework 1.1, so we cannot assure you about this issue.

Has "Beginning ASP.NET using VB.NET"/"Beginning ASP.NET 1.0 with VB.NET" been tested with .NET Framework 1.1 yet?

My query echoes the first post (posted in August 2003, 5 months ago) - Are there any compatibility issues, special considerations for this title when working with .NET Framework 1.1?

There shouldn't be any compatibility issues. I use a 1.0 book and code in the 1.1 environment. MS just added a few things with 1.1.

I'm having a problem with some of the code from chapter 9 pages 302-304. I'm running .NET 1.1 on most of my servers. I tried this on 2.0 Beta and get the same thing. The error I get is:

Compiler Error Message: BC30311: Value of type 'Integer' cannot be converted to 'ASP.multiclasses_aspx.VehicleKey'.
