Default web.config problems

Hello,
I'm new to this site and forum. I'm currently working with beginning ASP.NET 2.0 and having some problems in Chapter06. I'm getting an config error that I don't understand. I'm not sure if my local server (IIS) is in conflict with the VWD server. Don't quite get it. Here is a copy of it:

"Error 1 C:\All_Chapters\Chapter06\Begin\Chapter06\Default. aspx: ASP.NET runtime error: It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS. (C:\All_Chapters\Chapter06\Begin\chapter06\web.con fig line 31) C:\All_Chapters\Chapter06\Begin\Chapter06\Default. aspx 1 1 C:\...\Begin\"

Could someone please help me with this. I would appreciate.

Default

As the error states that often happens if you haven't created an application. Right-click the folder in IIS and choose 'properties'.
Go to the home tab and look in the bottom section to see if it's an application, if not create one.
