Smile SiteMapPath disappear when set up Routing

Hello !

Thank you for writing the book《BOOK: Beginning ASP.NET 4.5.1 : in C# and VB 》,now I exercise the Try it out "Creating a Breadcrumb with the SiteMapPath control",all is work fine,and then I exercise the try it out "Configration ASP.NET FriendlyUrls",all is work fine but the breadcrumb I set up last exercise now disppear,I do not know why ? I find the source in chapter 7 can run well ,but the figure 7-12 on page 266 still not dispaly breadcrumb,please give me a way ,thank you !

Not sure why that would happen. Did you compare the files in your site with the ones from Chapter 7?

you can see the figure 7-12 on page 266 not dispaly breadcrumb when try it out "Redirecting the user to another page",I conplete follow your instruction and get this strange result.please give me a way ! thank you!

Yes, I understand the problem. However, I am not allowed to use my mind reading skills here, so unless you do some digging to see what the differences are, it's hard to help you ;-)

Note that what you see on 7-12 is not a breadcrumb but the output of a Label. Did you check the code to make sure you added and assigned the label correctly? Can you post the code for pages like Source and Target (markup and code behind).

the solution is to get rid of any .aspx extension from Web.sitemap after add routing funciton ! the book not include that,please update in the next edition!thank you !!!
