Default Reverse Engineer

Hi,
What do you mean by Reverse engineer. I have existing system running in SQL 2005 and my manager wants me to do a reverse engineer only for certain tables. What does that mean. Please explain. Let me also know if that is possible using SQL 2005.
Thanks in advance.
