Default NEED HELP!!!

I have quite an intricate program I want to design. Basically, I have a dorm area that I need to record. I want to be able to create a listing for who is designated to what bed and what room. As the clients continously change, i need an easy was to be able to change the assigned people.

Also, I want to be able to create a list of visitors and have them associate who they visit, as one visitor may visit more than one person!

What program would I use for this?

Default NEED HELP!!!!

RickMoore1980,
To respond toyour question, what packae to use, depends on your respnse to the following questions:
  • Are you or will you be the owner and the administrator of this database or will others have access?
  • How will you keep track of one person visiting multple people? Will they have to sign in and sign out when visiting friends?
However, I am a Fan of relational databases, but I also like Oracle's Datawarehouse, because Oracle has combined relational and object for a great product.

What dtabase software to which you have access?

Just the fact that the question involves "Dorms" says this must be a homework assignment. Coupled with the fact that you think something this simple is "intricate", that moves it to a near certainty that it's homework. So, maybe you should read whatever book or other materials you have, so far.

But in any case, it would indeed help to know what DB software you have access to and/or what you are supposed to use.
