Default Recordset Navigation Bar

I not having much luck with this subject.

Created a Recordset Navigation Bar at the bottom. It comes up with 5 pages. The first page has the results you are looking for. When you click on to the Navigation Bar (Page 2). The second and the rest of the pages have no results.

Why please.

Hi Katachi,

Is this related to the book Beginning Dreamweaver MX 2004? If so, can you specify chapter and page number?

If not, can you post these kind of questions in the Dreamweaver forum located here: http://p2p.wrox.com/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=51

The form "Beginning Dreamweaver MX/MX 2004" is just for the books Beginning Dreamweaver MX/MX 2004 and not for general DW questions.

Cheers,

Imar

It seems so simple in the book but just would not work.
Using the Beginning with DWMX04 book. In Chapter 12 Page 452. Navigating the Data.

I have deleted the Navigational links and re installed them to see if I have done something wrong. Also tried to instal the Recordset Navigation Bar and it had the same results.

?? Lost.

I used Request instead of Request.Form for runtime parameter value in recordset and it worked perfectly.

Thanks for your support earlier.

Do you know when your latest book is coming out?

Hi Katachi,

My new book is scheduled for release in March 2006. You can check it out here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/047...id=1134905305/

It's not about ASP and Dreamweaver, but about ASP.NET 2.0 and Visual Web Developer.

Cheers,

Imar

Ok, do you think that this book would be good for combining technologies with Dreamweaver? Or do you think getting a good understanding in ASP would be good with Dreamweaver?

It all depends on what you want.

Like I said, my new book is about ASP.NET 2.0 and Visual Web Developer, so it won't help you improve your skills in ASP and Dreamweaver.

If, however, you'd like to dig into ASP.NET 2.0, my new book, combined with "Professional ASP.NET 2.0" would be a good choice.

But, it's up to you; you need to determine what field of technology you'd like to get into....
