Default InfoPath for 3

3 of us run a small business. We don't have a server or a shared folder. We need to fill in common forms using email. The standard forms are okay, but when we altered a standard form, we ran into trouble - could not open.
Can we save changed standard templates to our hard drives and then use them via email?
