Default Chapt 7 - accelerometer - rolling ball question

I'm planning to build a maze game with a rolling ball.

How do you confine the ball to walls and obstructions?

It seems to me that there must be a more elegant solution than using the CGRectIntersectsRect() function..or?

Default

That's the function I use but I'm sure there are other alternatives.
