One of the most useful parts of the book is the list of "Must Have Extensions" in Appendix C. However, IT books date quickly and this list is probably not current enough to rely on . Do you have an online resource with an up to date list?

joomla.org? If there is an extention worth mentioning im 100% certain the creator would post it there.

The forums offer tons of support for free there is very little need to purchase a book for "joomla"! I can understand a book on "php" or "mysql" maybe but "joomla"? come on...

I am self taught in php and mysql and after a week of using joomla on my site I wrote an entire module to resend activation links. Something the joomla core package lacks and god only knows why. My tutorial for this is on my personal website see signature.
