Default Ch 16...frustrating!

The quality of the Chapters in this book vary WILDLY. This one is like a first draft. So many typos and chunks of missing information. Most frustrating is p. 608, which contains a table indicating how to configure your web part. For "Named Item," use "Customers" instead of "By Product" or you will never get this to work. For "Type of toolbar - PivotTable1." I didn't have that option for toolbar type, but found that you have to select this VIEW if you want to see any data. "Reaming Options"?! Nope, couldn't find this anywhere either.

On p. 609, you'll want to add the customer names (as opposed to the elusive "customer data") as choices. In step 20., select the Connections (not Configuration) option.

Hope this saves someone else some time. Or maybe that's the secret mission of these poorly QA'd books---teach readers how to troubleshoot and get lots of practice inferring what the author might have meant to write instead of what he/she actually wrote.
