Default Preconfgiured Virtual Machine

Does anyone have a link to the preconfigured virtual machine referred to Chapter 1? None of the links in the other threads appear to be working.

Thanks,

Bill

Default My Knowledge, not Experience

Hi,
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en....aspx?id=27417 seems to be the url. I have not tried out yet. I do not find out the steps for Windows-7 in my machine. I am planning later to have a machine to install 2008 server R2 try-version(with role setup) for the virtual stuffs including another 2008 R2, in order to further my tryouts.
Based on my study, you can rent SharePointFoundation service, less than 10dollars a month. You can also rent SharePoint Server service, it is much more expensive.
Hopefully, it touches the issue. Thanks.
Peter
