Default Beg SQL MSSQL

I am attempting to install the MSSQL program from the book, Beginning SQL. At the Figure B-67 the book says to enter a password only on the Use a Domain User Account. I am entering a username and password, leaving the Domain block "Robert" which is the default.

I then get a message that says the logon account be validated for the SQL server service. Verify the user name and password are correct. The logon attempt failed.

I used the default settings option, as stated in the book, all the way through the setup to this point. I did enter my name at Figure B-63, other than that all entries were the next button at the default settings.

I would appreceiate any suggestions to get me running.

Regards,

Robert
