Default VB Express Edition

Can I use VB Express Edition for all the code and applications in this book?

PK,

The book was not written against the Express versions of Visual Studio 2005 so I cannot say that everything will work for you. However, I know for sure that you cannot write the code for the web chapters without installing the Visual Web Developer 2005 Express product.

Yes, the whole of the VB bit works using Visual Basic Express. The only thing that you can't do with Express is step 5 on page 249, where the DLL base address is changed.
