Default Beginning Visual C++ 6 file...

I purchased the book that came with a CD and loaded it in with no problem. I am up to chapter 20 that says I should use the cd to get a file called "sampdata.mdb". Unfortunately somehow the cd got cracked. Is there a way I can get this file?

Thank you for contacting Wiley Product Technical. I will be more than happy to send you a replacement. Please forward me your address including country and postal code, phone number, and ISBN number located on the back cover right above the bar code.

Default Where to get a copy of the compiler for a book I have

Bought Beginning Visual C++ 8 a long time ago, and wanted to go back and use it and it's been so long I can't remember if it had a CD. So I read a little and see that I had to download the compiler. So came to WROX and went to the book and downloaded the 4 separate files indicated, none of which is named compiler.

Where do I find a copy of the compiler for this book?

Thanks very much....Popeye
