Default Apache JMeter Question

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the most appropriate place to ask this question, but I'd thank any help that I can get.

If I want to write tests in Apache JMeter that test a certain function of a web application, and that function requires user login (i.e. doing a tansaction in Duke's Bank), how do I write the JMeter test so that it automatically login and run the function?

Thanks.

Default jmeter testing

Hi,
I've also had some difficulty with understanding how to manage Jmeter scripts, and what I wanted to ask is did you ever hear of Jmeter cloud testing? I found this site I linked when looking for help files on Jmeter and was wondering if this is a good route to take (I'm pretty much a novice to web design).
Thanks for any input,
Suzanne
