I got the result for login when i did the follwing proc,

1)created thread group with 10 threads and rampup time as u like
2)In config element, i chosen CSV Data set config where i had given the path of the CSV file which contains 10 different usernames and Passwords and give variable names also.
3)select HTTP REQUEST in samplers where you have to give the servername , port number(80), and give the complete URL(till login screen) at the path variable.
4)select any of the listeners.

keep the applications open
and run JMETER
you can find the results in listeners that you have selected.

I am proud if this works out well for you.

Thanks,
Nari.

Thnx,
Nari

If the server says "method POST is not supported" it means that the endpoint doesn't allow POST requests. I would suggest recording your login via JMeter HTTP Proxy Server as the URL you're trying to hit with your login request may allow only GET method. It's not too secure but still possible. Don't forget to add HTTP Cookie Manager to your thread group to automatically handle cookies.
