Default monitoring remote hosts on JMeter

i have a query abt monitoring the remote hosts when using jmeter. is there any listener which can give a report of the state of the remote hosts when the script is running? jmeter displays the status of the local host in the top-right corner beside the indicator, but there doesnt seem to be any way to check the status of the remote hosts. if anybody knows how to do this, please let me know.
thanks,
vinay
