Default Site title repeating on home page

I suspect I'm overlooking some basic setting, but I can't figure this one out.

On the home page of a site I'm developing, the name of the site appears just above the article title of the article I've assigned to the home page.

The title doesn't appear as a string in the index.php.

The setting for the page has Show Title set to No.

Where is this title coming from?

Default Answer: Change the Front page blog layout settings

Figured this out. See p. 243 of Jen's book.

There's a blog layout title that's turned on by default, even if you're not using a blog layout for your home page.

It's a very common problem! Glad you found the answer.
