Hi,

I am trying to reproduce the Calendar Report from page 375 in SSRS 2008 R2, and I am having trouble with recreating the Table/Tablix inside the Matrix. For some odd reason I cannot create the row groups as shown in the example.

I have no problem running the current example in my environment, but I wasnt to leanr how it is done and apply the technique into my own report.

I tried in Visual Studio 2008 and Report Builder 3.0 with no success.

If anyone can provide clues on how to build the row groups that would be great!

I was able to re-created the desired report in SQL Server 2008 with no problems at all. My conclusion is that there may be a design bug with row grouping in R2.

Pete, can you post how you reproduced it?

I was about to post in this forum asking for details. Either details on this particular report, or else information on how to produce the kind of table which is used inside the matrix in this report. I don't know how to produce two groups and a detail section all in the same columns visually.
