Default debug signature key

I am trying to launch the hello world app and I am getting an error.

"Error generating final archive: Unable to get debug signature key".

There are solutions on the web but they all say that it is because I am not using a Gregorian calendar, but I live in phoenix and I am.

There is no debug.keystore, ddms.cfg, and default.keyset in my .android file.

The installation works fine on my ubuntu 9.10, I am not sure what the problem is on my mac.

Any solutions would great,
Thanks in advance,
Shawn

Default

I had this error, it turned out to be the permissions on the android config files weren't allowing me to access them. You can use the command line as below if you're on a Mac, or find another way to set the files to be owned by your account.

Code:
sudo chown -R <your user name>:wheel /Users/<your user name>/.android/
